1-on-1 Course

The IB Diploma Programme Economics course forms part of group 3 – individuals and societies. There are two levels offered – Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL). At both levels, candidates are required to study these 4 main topics: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics and Development Economics with some sub-topics within these reserved solely for higher level. Our course structure can be found below.

Development Economics

  • Economic development (SL/HL)
  • Measuring development (SL/HL)
  • The role of domestic factors (SL/HL)

  • The role of foreign direct investment, FDI (SL/HL)
