Abhishek Krishna
Math, Chemistry

Abhishek graduated from the National University of Singapore with a major in Engineering Science and minor in Mathematics. He has been tutoring high school students in mathematics and science for over four years. He won the Bronze Award at the Singapore Mathematical Olympiad and a coveted trophy for NUS at the Bridge Design Competition organized by NTU.

Narayani Tulsian
Math, Physics, Economics

Narayani joined Prep Zone after completing her Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematical, Computational and Statistical Sciences with a minor in Economics from Yale-NUS College, Singapore. She has been tutoring various mathematics topics for over four years to students from secondary school to university level. One of her strong suits is her patience as she’s worked with many students with varying levels of ability in mathematics.

Norah Ho
Math, Physics

Norah studied Number Theory and obtained her doctorate degree in Mathematics from Nanyang Technological University. Before joining Prep Zone, she worked as a teaching assistant at her university, helping undergraduate students in various mathematics subjects. She received the excellence award for teaching assistants from her university in 2016.

Christel Gomes
Literature

Christel graduated from the National University of Singapore as a scholar with an Honours in English Literature. Previously an editor and journalist, Christel started her career with the Straits Times and has since worked in television, and published in various local and international magazines such as Motherhood, Global Health and Travel, Jetstar and Expat Living.

Jessica Wong
Theory of Knowledge (TOK)

A former college debater, Jessica holds a degree in Philosophy, with a specialization in human behaviour and ethics, from the National University of Singapore. Before joining Prep Zone, she spent 5 years as a senior trainer with training and consulting company Rieink, where she designed and delivered workshops on leadership, communication, and job skills, and delivered several talks on behalf of major organizations such as the Health Promotion Board.

Michelle Ramakrishnan
Literature

Michelle is an experienced English Language Trainer. Prior to joining Prep Zone, Michelle taught in Inti International College, Malaysia. She has been teaching English to foreign learners for over ten years. Her background includes teaching Technical English, Writing Skills, Public Speaking, English Language Skills, Business English, IELTS, TOEFL, A-Level, O-Level, and the Laureate English Programme.

Travis Clemens
Literature

Travis graduated from the University of Texas in 2004 with a degree in English literature. He worked at a cable news channel in Singapore before attending the University of Canterbury to retrain as a secondary school teacher. He has 9 years of experience teaching English literature and other subjects at private schools in Myanmar, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore. He has taught advanced literature and language classes for high school, and classes for students whose first language is not English.

Mufizur Rahman
Computer Science

Mufizur graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2016. He is detail-oriented and highly adaptive professional with more than 3 years of experience in software development. During his senior year in NUS, Mufizur shouldered the responsibilities of being a teaching assistant for his Year 1 computer engineering juniors. Mufizur is proficient in software topics such as (but not limited to) Java, object-oriented programming cybersecurity and database management. Coupled with his passion for knowledge and teaching, he always aims to adapt to his students’ diverse learning styles and strives to bring the best out in them.
